We are absolutely ecstatic that you chose to visit our website to learn about our unique ministry.
Lamb of God Church draws from people from various walks of life, economic backgrounds, diverse races and cultures. Many hadn't been to church in years and others were seeking a different place to worship.
Our common thread is our knowledge that we are all sinners in need of
Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins and God's Holy Spirit to
empower us to live for God in this life and in the next. Also, we seek ways to express our love for the Lord in ways that utilize our gifts and talents in creative and productive ways. This mixture yields a unique worship experience for all who come.
We are about being disciples and being instruments of God to make
disciples.
This new ministry, now 5 years old, is a mission church under development by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), in collaboration with
the Indiana-Kentucky Synod. The developer is Rev. Dr. James M. Capers. Dr. Capers and his lovely wife, Barbara, bring many years of experience at the corporate and local levels of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Dr. Capers developed another mission in Savannah, Georgia that
will celebrate its 26th anniversary this year.

We are to go forth and make disciples of others so that God's love, grace and power may be known in the lives of others.
